Thanks so much to Autism Diva and Autism Podcast for this wonderful show. I hope all of our Toronto readers will listen:

I am in Haliburton, sitting in an Internet Cafe while listening to this. Across from me sits "The Rails End Gallery" with a sign that reads: ART IS TRIUMPH OVER CHAOS.
The autistic artists who will be exhibited certainly are triumphant, showing an ability to take the abstract and make it into an interpreted, cohesive whole. Hopefully, with every word and deed, the same can occur for views about autism. Thanks again, Diva!

You're welcome. There's a really good podcast of Kassiane the Rettdevil, too, from autismpodcast.org.
There is much wisdom in what Autism Diva said in the interview. Kids do learn at their own pace and in their own way. I hope the ABA teachers are learning from this input that is coming in from the "mouths" of those who have been through this.

Thank-you so much for posting the link to the podcast. I have a new stepson that is autistic and, although there is a lot of information (and misinformation) about autism, it is been difficult to find information that is relevant to someone that is getting to know an older child. The podcast site is a goldmine....thanks so much!
There are also many useful autism podcasts at www.mic.mypodcast.com.
